This whole event, “the unmasked retreat” was uniquely and dynamically powerful: quite clearly the most powerful and effective work I have encountered in decades of living and applying my attention and efforts toward healthy living; in a systematic, conscious, and clear way.

 

For me Esther’s work is very rare and so well developed with consciousness and wisdom that it easily bypasses the busy, overactive mind that traps information about healing oneself physically, emotionally and spiritually. The way she integrates the material and teachings offers the participants access to deep parts of themselves, both the wounded parts and the essential spirit qualities we all have.

 

She is a gentle, kind, generous and sensitive healer who is steeped in rich understanding of the human body and the same depth of understanding of how the earth body develops and grows and thrives. Her teachings are helping me see and feel my own belonging in this body, in this lifetime, and my belonging on the planet. How refreshing!!!

 

Her workshop unfolds in an incredibly expressive way that guides participants to deep places in themselves in such creative and active exercises that are fun, funny, and mysteriously expansive. The whole experience allows one to examine  oneself through curiosity and self acceptance. Qualities she offers are joyfulnesses and tenderness toward oneself. Not through learning of a “spiritual practice“ but through the inquiry and discovery of our own unique spirit nature. It felt like the retreat was built on the theme of self discovery from one experience /exercise to the next, always allowing for the opportunity to gain deeper, clearer self awareness and perception. The development of this awareness came without any direct or unsettling confrontation or “feedback”.  Allowing me to stay open,  intrigued and enthusiastic.

 

Esther’s cultivated wisdom, captures, emanates  and sustains throughout the 4 day self-exploration in a gentle, sincere, compassionate container. Her guidance culminates in supporting participants to give voice to a shadow part in a sacred, ceremonial performance.

 

This celebratory mythical enactment allows a deep descent into and arrival at “truth” about oneself. Welcoming one home !
